Certification Terms

1. The Certification Badge

The Trusted AI Partners Certification Badge is a quality seal that confirms the membership and verification of an AI service provider on our platform.

2. Badge Tiers

3. Validity and Expiry

3.1 Validity Period

The certification badge is valid for 12 months from the date of activation. After this period, the badge must be renewed to continue displaying as "active".

3.2 Status Display

3.3 Effects of Expiry

When the badge expires:

• The badge is displayed as "expired" with visual indication (grayscale)
• The backlink remains but is switched to "nofollow" (Professional/Enterprise)
• Lead forwarding is paused until renewal
• The profile remains publicly visible

4. Embedding Requirements

4.1 Permitted Use

• Embedding on your own company website
• Use on landing pages, "About" pages, or in the footer
• Inclusion in email signatures or presentations

4.2 Prohibited Use

• Manipulation of the badge or embed code
• Use of an expired badge without appropriate indication
• Removal of the link to Trusted AI Partners
• Misleading representation of certification
• Transfer of the badge to third parties

5. Verification Process

Verification on Trusted AI Partners includes:

1. Profile Claiming: Confirmation of authorization to represent the company
2. Email Verification: Confirmation of a business email address
3. Profile Review: Review of profile information by our team

6. Revocation of Certification

Trusted AI Partners reserves the right to revoke certification in the following cases:

• Violation of these terms
• False or misleading profile information
• Misuse of the badge
• Negative customer reviews or complaints
• Violation of applicable law
• Cessation of business operations

7. Data Processing

As part of the badge system, we process:

• Tracking data to measure badge impressions (domain, time, count)
• Status queries to display current certification status

8. Legal Basis

For displaying badge status: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in transparent display of certification status to third parties).

For badge usage: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance - part of subscription for Professional/Enterprise).

9. Liability

The badge does not constitute a guarantee or warranty for the quality of services of the certified provider. Trusted AI Partners is not liable for:

• Services of the certified provider
• Damages from using the badge
• Technical failures of the status API

10. Changes

We may change these terms at any time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the badge after changes constitutes acceptance.
